1. Install the winch: Open the packaging and remove the winch. Rotate the hex screw and thin washer away from the end of the gear axe. Fix the nut on the handle to the trapezoidal turbine at the end of the gear axe, so that the inside of the nut is close to the friction part. Then, tighten the screws and thin washers.
2. Install the winch steel wire rope: Loosen the hexagonal screw on the left fixing plate of the winch drum, and remove the fixing plate from the steel wire rope and the screw with elliptical head and square column. Wind one end of the steel wire rope clockwise around the drum, and pass the other end through the long, round, and curved hole on the left side of the guardrail. The exposed length of the steel wire rope should be 7-10 centimeters. Thread the screw with an elliptical head and square column through the square hole on the left side of the scroll from the inside out. Place it into the steel wire rope fixing plate, rotate the steel wire rope around this screw, pull back, insert the steel wire rope into the fixing plate, and then tighten it with a hexagonal nut. Shake the handle to wrap the steel wire rope around the reel (maintain tension when winding the steel wire rope).
3. Use three screws and nuts to secure the winch to the base. The base can withstand heavy loads.
Precautions for using manual winches
1. Do not use manual winches to pull or move people.
2. Do not overload.
3. If the wire rope has been damaged, broken, flat rusted, or knotted, please do not use it.
4. When working, do not buckle the pull hook at the end of the wire rope onto the wire rope to avoid wear and tear on the wire rope.
5. When pulling the goods, the steel wire rope should be kept perpendicular to the reel, otherwise it is easy to wear the steel wire rope.
6. When using a winch to pull heavy loads, use pulleys to reduce the load on the winch and wire rope.
7. Do not use the winch to pull the goods when the wire rope is wound less than 5 turns on the reel. Otherwise, the fixed plate may not be able to bear the heavy load and accidents may occur.
8. When the winch is working, do not touch the wire rope, reel, or pulley. When organizing the wire rope, please wear gloves and cover the wire rope with thick cloth.
